When the gates open to the annual event, thousands of visitors will arrive in search of inspiration, the latest industry trends, and opportunities to forge partnerships with new suppliers.

“With so much to take in and so much valuable material to take away after a visit to a show like Packaging Innovations, it could well be that a suitably luxurious and reliable carrier bag will be the order of the day!” comments Emma Linley, Creative Papers Product Manager at Antalis.

The designers at Procos conceived a number of potential concepts and produced a series of 3D prototypes before the team chose the final design and selected Keaykolour manufactured by Arjowiggins Creative Papers for the show bag.

Available from Antalis, the Keaykolour range offers a kaleidoscope of vibrant and intense colours, diverse weights and unique embossed textures. Furthermore, up to 100% of post-consumer recycled pulp is used in its production, making it the perfect choice for both exceptional quality and sustainability.

The rich black and white contrast of the chosen design beautifully captures the very stylish, yet subtle blind dome embossing of the London backdrop, which is perfectly executed on the KeayKolour paper. In addition, the handles comprised of luxurious waxed cotton give the impression of leather, contributing further to the impressive look and finish of the carrier.

The pillars of the Packaging Innovations show are sustainability, luxury materials, design and print, and the official show bag clearly proves that all four elements can be successfully combined. A stylish design and modern finish on a luxury bag that’s been beautifully crafted using recycled paper. This year’s official show bag is not only a necessity for safeguarding information, samples, notes and belongings, but a perfect souvenir as well.

Visitors to Packaging Innovations 2014 in London can discover a wide variety of creative papers on the Antalis stand E59.

“We’re particularly excited about exhibiting at this year’s show, not least because we’re showcasing one of our many creative papers with the show bag”, explains Emma. “This year the Antalis stand takes on a global theme to reflect the worldwide availability of our brands.”

Visitors to the Antalis stand can also collect a range of printed samples to inspire and show the capabilities of paper for beautiful and creative packaging design.

Procos can be found at stand GB47, where they will also be showcasing an exciting new packaging innovation, the luxury carrier box - an environmentally friendly and cost-effective bag/box combination.
