HP has announced that the HP Scitex LX850 Printer will spearhead the line-up of HP printers on show at Sign Scandinavia 26 – 28 October 2011, being held at Kistmässan, Kista Science City, near Stockholm, Sweden.

The HP portfolio of large format digital printing solutions will be shown on two partner stands – Schneidler Grafiska AB and Olsonic AB to demonstrate HP’s product solutions to wide format graphics print service providers who provide signage for the advertising industry. The event will also allow HP to highlight the environmental benefits of HP Latex printers and consumables introduced to limit the impact on the environment without compromising print quality.

The range on display will showcase the recently introduced HP Scitex LX850 Printer which runs water-based HP Latex Inks. HP maintain that the 3.2m printer delivers maximum versatility and productivity with multiple workflow features, including dual-roll, roll-to-free fall and roll-to-collector handling and an ink collector.

To highlight the continued importance of its latex technologies, the product line-up will also include the HP Designjet L25500 Printer, a 152.4cm (60-inch) width printer for applications such as vehicle wraps to signage and interior décor.

Also on show will be the HP Scitex FB700 Printer, which offers the ability to print on both rigid and flexible media for indoor and outdoor applications at speeds up to 80m2/hr (billboard mode). Using UV-curable ink, the printer can handle rigid substrates up to 6.4cm (2.5in), print up to six sheets at once, and produce double-sided prints and full-bleed printing, making it ideal for PSPs who want to expand into new markets.
