Roland DG announces new generation ECO-SOL MAX3 for the EU region.
Roland DG has announced the launch of ECO-SOL MAX3, a new generation ink for use with its range of eco-solvent printers and printer/cutters. Available in both 220cc and 500cc* cartridges, the company maintains the new ink delivers faster drying times, larger capacity cartridges, a lower price per cc of ink and an overall performance upgrade.
Spanish Printer Graficas Varias Expands Digital Portfolio with new HP Indigo Press.
Spanish based Graficas Varias, a company known as a specialist in label production for wine and champagne, has extended its commitment to HP’s market-leading digital printing technology, with its second HP Indigo press. The new HP Indigo WS6800 Digital Press has been installed at the company’s production facility in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, Barcelona, and is expected to allow Graficas Varias to optimise its existing processes to achieve breakthrough productivity.

It was by announced by EFI™ at FESPA that German based Flyeralarm, Europe's largest online print provider, purchased a fully automated EFI VUTEK® HS100 Pro high speed press. HP T400 Color inkjet web press to enable first high-volume digitally printed newspaper at Mengis Druck AG.
Swiss based Mengis Druck AG has purchased the first HP T400 Color Inkjet Web Press in the country. The company confirmed that the new HP T400 will also be the first digital press to be used solely for the production of its high-volume newspaper, the Walliser Bote. HP said that with a daily run length of 22,000, digital production of the Walliser Bote marks an important milestone for the graphic arts industry.
