Italian based Kiian Specialty Inks has announced the launch of FREE, a range of PVC-free plastisol inks which can be used with most textiles, from cotton to synthetics. The company also confirmed that the new inks meet all international textile standards and will be marketed under the Manoukian-Argon flagship brand.

Gafs Kartong AB, of Värnamo, Sweden has become the first company in the Nordic region to purchase a Highcon™ Euclid. The company has a policy of investing heavily in the entire packaging process from design, through prepress, and printing to post-press. Highcon said the 25-employee company had seen the huge benefits to be gained in creativity, flexibility and speed from the Euclid, allowing it to respond to on-demand requests and the implementation of variable data.

It’s been announced that Kornit Digital, which manufacturer’s and distributes professional digital textile printing systems for the clothing, fashion and advertising industries, has appointed ESC Decoration Technologies GmbH & Co KG as its distributor for Germany. Based in Bad Salzuflen, Kornit Digital’s new partner, also better known by its abbreviated name ESC Decotec, is a branch of the Europa-Siebdruck-Centrum and specialises in digital and textile printing technology. Managing director Marcus Borghoff with his sister, Verena Borghoff will be responsible for the Kornit business at ESC Decotec.
